June 4 talk: Lindsay Wood on “Trying to keep up with Climate Change”

Lindsay Wood’s quest to walk the talk on climate action continues unabated, and sees him maxing out his unique opportunities to engage with climate issues, then trying to share them in whatever ways he can. A growing readership now knows “Climate Matters”, his regular one-page newsletter, and in the last year Lindsay has also engaged in a further intensive study tour, launched a mini carbon offset scheme, helped councils and businesses apply climate thinking in their work, and more. However, even though he works almost full time on this, Lindsay also knows the huge challenge presented by trying to keep abreast of such a complex and unfolding field. He will again bring us an intriguing selection from his activities and experiences, ranging from Berlin’s vast Innotrans mobility convention, to various encounters with leading researchers, to an ecological community that heated itself with compost.
