Amadeo Enriquez-Ballestero will be speaking on “The importance of science and science communication to society”. He will be including some of his cultural observations of science and how attitudes differ from country to country, sometimes being influenced by different religions. Amadeo is the Science Presentation Coordinator at the Otago Museum. He has spent half of his life at the museum promoting science in the community and mixing science, art and technology in all his programmes. His goal is to have everyone enjoy science as that is ultimately what will make the world a better place.
